A talented young artist – Liza Kolesnykova. She is currently 18 years old. Having grown up in an artistic family, Liza has been studying and practising across all areas of the visual arts since childhood. Drawing, paintings, sculpture, computer graphics, photo, animation, video – all are her fields of practice and experimentation.
In Ukraine, since the age of 11, Liza has studied at the T.G. Shevchenko State Art High School. She had to leave school in February 2022, after the first Russian missiles hit her native city of Kyiv, when the war started.
Liza's long journey with her family as war refugees stopped in the UK, where she has been hosted in a beautiful family in Reydon (Suffolk). Liza has studied at Saint Felix School since May 2022. After meeting Liza and considering her portfolio, the school administration provided her family with a full scholarship to further her education in the UK. In addition to regular and mandatory school subjects, Liza has continued to learn Art and Photography. Liza is now finished studying in the Sixth Form at Saint Felix and has entered the University of Hertfordshire on a course in Comics and Concept Art.
